Baker named to Mosaic Board of Trustees

Northwest Missouri State Vice-President of Students Affairs, Dr. Matt Baker, has been named to the Mosaic Life Care Board of Trustees. Baker says he looks forward to exploring ways Mosaic and Northwest Missouri State can partner to benefit the Maryville community.

"To be on the board gives me great hope around good things that can happen in all facets of our community life.  We've been talking recently on campus with the Maryville RII School District on opportunities in behavioural health.  And there's things that Mosaic is looking at in trying to improve community wellness and community health.  And the university is looking at that for faculty, staff, and students.  So being part of this gives us additional resources and collaborative opportunities to improve our community life and outside the workzone but within the community to make it even better."

Mosaic recently took over operation of the former SSM St. Francis Hospital in Maryville renaming the facility Mosaic Medical Center-Maryville.
