Travelogue event scheduled for May 16th

Area residents looking to travel for a good cause will have an opportunity to learn more upcoming opportunities this month. Travel Tails with Collette will be hosting a Travelogue event on May 16th. The event is called Destinations and Desserts with Sonia and Sharon. Coordinator for Travel Tails Tours, Sharon Bonnett, says Sonia Smith, representative from the Collette central office, will be speaking at the event and sharing her experiences from around the world.

"She's a professional photographer so she'll be sharing her pictures.  She'll be talking about her favorite tours which just happen to include the Northern Lights of Finland where you actually stay in an igloo.  She also loves Egypt so she'll be talking about Egypt.  She'll tell us about Christmas on the Danube River."

The event is set for Thursday, May 16th at 6 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Express in Maryville. One hundred percent of the proceeds go the the Maryville Animal Shelter.  For questions and more information, email sharonbonnett180@gmail.com or call 660-582-0613.
