St. Joseph man seriously injured in crash

A crash in Holt County has left a St. Joseph man in serious condition. According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, the 48-year-old St. Joseph resident, David McDowell, was westbound on Missouri 113, five miles east of Mound City, when the commercial dump truck he was driving travelled of the right side of the road and began skidding. The load shifted causing the truck to overturn coming to rest on the passenger side. McDowell was taken to Mosaic Hospital in St. Joseph by Atchison Holt EMS.
