Northwest student and Maryville resident competing for Miss Missouri

The 50th anniversary of the Miss Missouri Pageant will be held this June and Maryville resident, Debrielle Patte-Merrill, will be competing for the Miss Missouri title.   Miss Forest Park, Debrielle Patte-Merrill, daughter of David and Jean Merrill, is part of the Miss Missouri class of 2019 and currently a student in Northwest Missouri State University. Merrill's platform, "It Can Wait", focuses on the dangers of texting while driving and participates in a variety of service projects and appearances throughout the St. Louis area as well as her hometown of Maryville.   The preliminary competition begins Tuesday, June 11 and runs through Saturday, June 15 in Mexico, Missouri with the crowning of the New Miss Missouri.  After being crowned, the new Miss Missouri will immediately prepare to compete on the national stage for the Miss America title.
