King City woman seriously injured in accident

A 69-year-old King City woman was seriously injured in a two vehicle accident yesterday afternoon just inside the east city limits of King City. According to a report from the Missouri Highway Patrol, a pick up driven by 60-year-old Douglas Delaney was westbound on Route Z when a northbound John Deer mower driven by 69-year-old Cindy Anders entered the roadway and into the path of Delaney's pick up. Anders was ejected from the mower. Anders was taken to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph by Life Net Eagle for treatment of serious injuries. The accident was investigated by the Missouri Highway Patrol, the Gentry County Sheriff's office and the King City Fire Department.
