Floodstock concert to benefit flood victims held this Friday

A benefit concert for flood victims in Fremont and Mills Counties in Iowa is being organized for Friday night in Imogene, Iowa. Spokesperson for the event, George McGargill, says donations for flood victims is already coming in prior to Friday's concert.

"We started up an account at Bank Iowa for people to donate to.  The name of our concert is Floodstock.  So far, we've raised $8000 and I've got a promise of another $2000, so we're up to $10,000 right now.  We're hoping to get up to at least $20,000."

 Entertainment is provided by Omaha singer Jocelyn as well as the Union County Band.  Floodstock 2019 takes place Friday night from 6 to 10pm at the outdoor Shamrock Theater in downtown Imogene, Iowa.
