Three seriously injured in Easter car accident

Three northwest Missouri residents suffered serious injuries after a two-vehicle accident in Nodaway County Sunday afternoon. According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a vehicle driven 20-year-old  Hannah J. Dennis of Maryville was eastbound at the junction of U.S. 136 at Liberty Road, five miles east of Maryville when a car driven by 19-year-old Tristen S. Emery of Hopkins was northbound. Emery failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with Dennis's front driver side and overturned.  Emery and one of his two passengers 17-year-old Tyler K. Randolph of Ravenwood received serious injuries. Emery's second passenger 18-year-old Kaitlin M. Hulette of Maryville suffered moderate injuries.  Dennis, Emery, Randolph and Hulette were all transported to Mosaic Medical Center in Maryville by Nodaway County Ambulance.  The accident was investigated by the Missouri Highway Patrol, Nodaway County Sheriff's office and Maryville Public Safety.
