Ten-year-old seriously injured in vehicular accident

A 10-year-old Albany resident was seriously injured in a two vehicle accident Monday evening around 7:15 in Gentry County.  According to a report from the Missouri Highway Patrol, the accident took place on westbound Berlin Road, just east of U-S 169, one mile south of King City, when a Polaris Scrambler driven by 1- year-old John-A-Rigney of Albany turned west from a field entrance in front of a car driven by 41-year-old James-E-Davis of King City.  Rigney was ejected from his vehicle and suffered serious injuries and taken to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph.  The accident was investigated by the Missouri Highway Patrol and the Gentry County Sheriff's Department.
