North Nodaway Board of Ed changes lunch prices and elects officers

The North Nodaway Board of Education acted on the results of a food services audit at its meeting Monday night.
Superintendent James Simmelink says the audit called for price changes.

"As part of that audit, we were underpricing some of our items.  So the board voted to increase lunch pricing for adults to $3.55 and also increased to $1.50 the cost of a second entree, and seconds on other items was increased to $0.75."

Simmelink adds the board also reorganized during Monday's meeting.

"Well, we had our organizational meeting to begin the evening and Jerime Bix was elected as our president.  Jason Thompson was elected as our vice president."
