Northwest Missouri State University's Department of Fine and Performing Arts will host its spring art sale during the Empty Cups event. Empty Cups is an opportunity for the Northwest community to purchase a handmade ceramic cup and fill it with lemonade or tea. The art sale features a variety of student-made art including pottery, cups, bowls, jars and small edition prints. Proceeds from the sale help students pay for materials and provide funding for projects that support the Northwest Art program. The Empty Cups event will be held on Thursday, April 25th and Friday, April 26th from 11 a-m to 2 p-m on the second floor of the J-W Jones Student Union. The Art Sale will be held on the same days from 11 a-m to 7 p-m in Meeting Room D on the third floor of the student union.
