Career Closet is open for students

The Career Closet at Northwest Missouri State University is open this week for students needing professional attire to stop in and add some needed clothing to their wardrobes. Director of Partnerships and Placement at Northwest, Jill Brown, says their goal at the career closet is to reduce barriers.

"When you're a student, you have so many stresses on your time and on your resources.  The goal of the Career Closet is relieve one of those things.  So in other words, it's a great free resource for students.  That way you can come get those things that you need whether it's for an interview or for a classroom presentation or you're headed out to student teach and you need lots of pairs of khaki pants because you have to wear whatever your school attire might be.  We're just trying to alleviate some of that stress that students might have."

The Career Closet is open from 8 a.m. 5 p.m. Monday and Tuesday this week in the North Complex or on request.
