The Brownville Concert Series will continue its 2019 season with the April Verch Band next month.
Chairman of the Production team for the Brownville Concert Series, John Lauber, says Verch and her band will feature a unique blend of instruments and talents.

"She plays the fiddle and, besides the music she plays which is in the style of; first of all she's Canadian, so there's some Canadian connected tunes in that in her performance.  Then she features other American old-time bluegrass and country music.  The most unique thing about her is that she's a step dancer, which is kind of like tap dancing but kind of like clogging, but it's kind of a different category all together.  But it's very entertaining so she'll be singing, and playing and doing the step dancing."

Lauber adds the Brownville Concert Series is proud to provide high quality acts in a variety of styles.

"Regardless of the style of music, there is instrumental, vocal, or small group, or soloist or whatever it is.  Whatever the performance and style of music is, the performers have a national or international reputation so what you're seeing is some of the best performers, artists, and entertainers you'd find in any major city."

The April Verch Band will perform in cabaret Friday and Saturday, May 3rd and 4th at 7:30 p.m. and in a concert setting at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 5th.  For tickets or more information visit brownvilleconcertseries.com.
