Public assistance needed in a hit & run

The Missouri State Highway Patrol is requesting assistance from the public regarding a fatal accident last week in Buchanan County.
Troop H of the Missouri State Highway Patrol is requesting the public's assistance in identifying a vehicle that left the scene of the fatal crash Wednesday on I-29 just south of the Genefield Road overpass in Buchanan County. Sergeant Jake Angle with the Missouri State Highway Patrol says anyone with information is asked to contact Troop H.

"We're just wanting information, anyone that might have seen the crash at the location at the time we described.  Anything.  Anything that might help us or lead us in a direction.  Obviously we can't do it alone and that's when we rely on the public.  So anybody that might have seen anything or know anything, we just encourage them to call Troop H and give us what information they might have."

Anyone with information about the accident is asked to call Troop H at 816-387-2345.
