Livingston County Library to host a Paint-Along

The Livingston County Library in Chillicothe will host a paint along Monday and Tuesday. Participants will be using oil paints while painting along with Bob Ross from an episode of his show The Joy of Painting. Adult Services Coordinator Monica Holmer says all supplies will be provided as well as their 16 by 20 inch canvas to take home.

"They don't need to bring anything.  I just suggest they wear clothes they don't mind getting paint on if they're a little messy."

Holmer also says spots are already filling up quickly.

"We actually already have a lot of people registered.  We have I think about 6 spots left on each night and you can register by calling the library and the number here is 660-646-0547.  Once it fills up, we do start a waiting list because sometimes we have last minute cancellations, you know, where people can't make it.  So if you do call and it's full, go ahead and put yourself on the waiting list because a lot of the time we can go ahead and squeeze those people in."

The paint along will take place Monday and Tuesday from 6 to 7:30 in the Livingston County Library Courtroom in Chillicothe.
