Northwest President elected to serve on the AASCU Board of Directors

Northwest Missouri State University President Dr. John Jasinski has been elected by his peers to serve as a member of the American Association of State College and Universities (AASCU) Board of Directors. The organization is a Washington, D.C. based higher education association of nearly 400 public colleges, universities and systems whose members share a learning and teaching centered culture, a historic commitment to underserved student populations and a dedication to research and creativity that advances their regions' economic progress and cultural development. Earlier this year, Jasinski was also elected to a one-year term as vice chair of the Council on Public Higher Education, which is composed of the presidents and chancellors of public higher education institutions in Missouri.
