In Missouri State Senate races, in District 12, incumbant Republican Dan Hegeman won easily, picking up nearly 72 percent of the vote in defeating Democrat Terry Richard.
In the District 34 election, Republican Tony Luetkemeyer edged Democrat Martin T. Rucker by picking up just over 52 percent of the vote with Rucker receiving 47.5 percent.
