Meeting to discuss new facility for Maryville Public Safety to take place tonight

Discussions continue concerning the design of a new facility for Maryville Public Safety. City Manager Greg McDanel says a meeting is planned for this morning between city staff and the design architects for the new building.

"We're meeting with WSK&F to continue that and take a look at a new design for the facility that's going to be located at the northeast corner of East 1st and Vine Street.  The project continues in design and we hope to be under construction in spring."

The city of Maryville has budgeted four million dollars in this year's budget to help pay for construction of the new Maryville Public Safety facility.
