Representatives from the non-profit, Missouri Main Street Connection of Branson, Missouri visited Maryville last week to support efforts by the Downtown Maryville organization to improve Maryville's business district.
Maryville City Manager Greg McDanel says Main Street Connection and Downtown Maryville came up with a few good revitalization ideas.
McDanel adds the ideas and improvements will be a great benefit to Maryville business owners.
To aid in the improvement of Maryville's business district, Main Street Connection offered the Downtown Maryville organization $20,000 over two years if the organization can raise $20,000 on its own to match. The city of Maryville has also set aside $100,000 of the current year budget for downtown improvement.
