The Jefferson C-123 Board of Education discussed the district's liability insurance and heard an update on the bus grant during their recent meeting. That's according to Superintendent Tim Jermain.
"We renewed our liability insurance through MUSIC, which is a cooperation of schools throughout the state. It's a state-funded plan for liability insurance. Gave an update on - we're currently building a weight room and we gave the board an update on what that looks like. We're moving forward with a bus grant that we were awarded to replace on of our older buses and right now we're seeking bids for buses."
The next regular board meeting will be held on Wednesday, December 19th at 6 pm.
