Ag Lenders Seminar to be held in December

The University of Missouri extension will hold its annual Ag Lenders Seminar Thursday, December 6th in Maryville and St. Joseph. Nodaway County Engagement Specialist for Agriculture and Environment Randa Doty says this seminar updates ag lenders on key issues affecting agricultural lending decisions.

"We give 'em updates on commodity prices, policies, change in structure of the agriculture in the environment, international trade.  And any other things that may influence their success in the farming of their customers."

Agricultural Economist from the University of Missouri, Scott Brown, will discuss emerging issues about livestock and commodity outlook. The Maryville program will be held from 9:00 a.m. to noon at the Nodaway Country Administration Building on Thursday, December 6th
