Northwest recognized with fundraising award

For the second consecutive year, Northwest Missouri State University and its Office of University Advancement is being recognized by the Council for Advancement and Support of Education, or CASE.  Northwest was awarded CASE's Educational Fundraising Award for Overall Improvement.  The award is presented to superior fundraising programs at educational institutions across the country.  Honorees are selected on a blind analysis of three years of fundraising data.  Northwest is one of only five public comprehensive universities with endowments of more than 35 million dollars to receive the award this year.  The Northwest Foundation recently announced it has secured four and a half million dollars in donor funding and awarded 934 thousand dollars in financial assistance during its 2018 fiscal year .  Over two years, the foundation has raised 17 million dollars.
