According to the Missouri Department of Transportation, the bridge on Route YY over the middle fork of the Grand River, east of Worth, is now closed.
The bridge was closed after a scheduled inspection revealed there was critical deterioration to the structure. For now, drivers may use U.S. Route 169 to detour around the closure. The bridge will reopen once inspectors determine whether or not the bridge is safe for motorists.
