The Northwest Missouri Regional Council of Governments has prepared a new Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy Plan for the five county region. Economic Development Planner Kim Mildward says the plan defines a regional strategy for economic development in our area.
"We do this as part of our contract with the economic development administration, as part of an economic development district. Just to gather everybody together, see what the needs are of the region, and then try to develop strategies that can help us move forward with those goals."
