Passport Fair to be held Saturday at East Hills Mall

The Rolling Hills Library in St. Joseph will have a Passport Fair at East Hills Mall on Saturday with passport agents to help travelers apply for passports. Public Relations Specialist for the Rolling Hills Library Alan Stolfus says with the success of the Passport Fair at the library, they decided to branch out to the Mall.

"We decided to go out into the public - go out to the mall - and set up our passport booth there to try to reach more people, to educate them about what you need to get a passport.  If you want to get a passport, you can come to the mall on Saturday and if you have all the right documents with you, we can sign you up, fill out an application right there, to get a new passport."

Stolfus adds that if you want to apply for a passport, there are certain documents you have to bring.

"You need a proof of citizenship like your original birth certificate or a previous passport.  You will have to have a passport photo taken.  You can either do it at the library or at the mall on Saturday.  Or you can go other places; some drugstores make take pictures, too. It is not a free process.  There are fees you have to pay the government and also to the library."
