A Jamesport, Missouri man is seriously injured after a one vehicle accident in Daviess County yesterday afternoon.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 52-year-old David Kauffman was southbound on Missouri Highway 190, one mile south of Jamesport, at approximately 2:15 p-m. That's when he lost control of his truck and ran off the east side of the roadway. His truck struck a mailbox, wooden walkway, and a driveway; became airborne; and overturned several times striking several small trees. Kauffman was seriously injured in the accident and life flighted to Truman Medical Center in Kansas City. The accident was assisted by the Missouri State Highway Patrol and Daviess County Officials.
