Fatal Crash in Andrew County

Two people were killed in a two-vehicle accident last night at approximately 9:20 in Andrew County.   According to the Missouri Highway Patrol report, a car driven by 36-year-old Kristen Ingles of Peoria, Illinois was southbound in the northbound passing lane of Highway 71, two miles southwest of Savannah,  struck an S-U-V head on driven by 32-year-old Ricky Gonzales from Manhattan, Kansas.   Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene.  The accident was investigated by the Missouri Highway Patrol, Andrew County Coroner, Andrew County Sheriff's department, Savannah Police department, and Andrew County Fire Department.
