St. Joseph will feature an annual historical festival this weekend.
The 2018 Juneteenth Festival will be held at John Lucas Park. The festival was created to commemorate the freeing of the slaves in 1865. The three-day festival will feature vendors, music, and games, along with a parade on Saturday. St. Joseph Juneteenth Committee Vice President Precious Love says the event is good for the entire community.
The festival runs tomorrow through Sunday. More information is available on the St. Joseph Juneteenth Facebook page.
