MoDOT lighting work to cause ramp closures Tuesday

Overhead lighting work will cause some brief ramp closures along Interstate 229 tomorrow.

According to a release from the Missouri Department of Transportation, crews will be working on overhead lighting for up to 30 minutes in four locations throughout tomorrow morning.

Crews will first close the I-229 Southbound ramp to Route 759 at Exit 5 around 8:30 a.m. They will then move to the entrance ramp from Route 759 northbound to I-229 northbound at 9:30 a.m.

From there, crews will work on the US Route 59 entrance to I-229 northbound at 11 a.m. before closing the entrance ramp from Route 59 southbound to I-229 southbound at noon.

All start times are approximations, and all of the work is weather permitting and subject to change. Motorists who need any of these ramps should plan for alternate routes during the work, as there will be delays.
