Northwest Missouri State women's basketball limited Washburn to its lowest offensive output of the season on Saturday, but the Ichabods did enough to prevail 41-38.
The Bearcats (7-12) held a 22-13 lead at halftime, but only had five buckets in the second half and were outscored by the Ichabods 28-16 in the final two quarters.
Jaelyn Haggard finished with nine points hitting three of six three-point attempts.
Mallory McConkey, Caely Kesten, and Molly Hartnett all finished with eight points apiece.
Northwest gets a rematch with Washburn Tuesday night in Maryville. Tip off is set for 5:30pm. Pregame on KXCV 90.5 and KRNW 88.9 begins at 5pm.
