KXCV-KRNW kicking March Madness off Thursday afternoon

KXCV-KRNW will kick March Madness off with a special broadcast Thursday directly after the Northwest basketball game.

Northwest Missouri State University's pursuit of the MIAA Tournament title and beyond begins Thursday, and the flagship station of the Bearcat Radio Network will have exclusive coverage to get you ready for March Madness.

Following the Bearcat basketball broadcast from Municipal Auditorium Thursday, March 7, KXCV 90.5 and KRNW 88.9 will host a special show from Kansas City looking ahead at Northwest's road through the MIAA Tournament and NCAA Tournament, while also remembering some of the great teams of the past.

Former Bearcat guard and current Northwest Director of Athletics, Andy Peterson, will host the show alongside the Bearcat Radio Network's Matt Tritten from the Quaff Bar & Grill in Kansas City – the site of the Northwest Alumni Association's Bearcat Gatherings during tournament week.

Catch it all on KXCV 90.5, KRNW 88.9 and KXCV.org.

Support for the show comes from El Nopal Mexican Restaurant, Jock's Nitch, State Farm Insurance agent Nick Koeteman, Rapid Elite and the Maryville Chamber of Commerce.
