Former Northwest Missouri State All-American Collin Bevins is back with an NFL team nearly eight months after being waived by the Arizona Cardinals.
The Cleveland Browns announced the signing of Bevins to the reserve/future list Tuesday afternoon in a release on the team's official website.
The defensive lineman, listed at 6'4" and 266 pounds, was named to the AFCA, AP, D2CCA and D2Football.com All-America First Teams after his senior season in 2016.
Bevins finished his Bearcat career as the program's record-holder in sacks (34) and tackles for loss (58.5). He also set single-season records as a junior with 15.5 sacks and 26.5 tackles for loss.
Bevins joined the Cardinals as an undrafted free agent last April. The team let him go a few weeks later. He spent the 2017 Fall as a student assistant for the Northwest football team. He joins a Browns squad that is coming off an 0-16 season.
