Maryville Chamber hosts coffee with state legislators

Two of northwest Missouri's state legislators were in Maryville this morning speaking at an event sponsored by the Maryville Chamber of Commerce.

1st District State Representative Allen Andrews, a Republican from Grant City, and 12th District State Senator Dan Hageman, a Republican from Cosby, addressed the group on upcoming issues to be discussed when the next General Assembly session gets underway in January. Andrews says labor reform again will be a major topic on the House side. Hageman feels several issues will require his attention early in the Senate.

The next Missouri General Assembly session convenes on Jan. 4, 2018 in Jefferson City.
