Iowa man seriously injured in two-vehicle crash near Bethany, Mo.

A Des Moines, Iowa man was seriously injured after the vehicle he was traveling in went off the roadway and overturned 4 miles north of Bethany on I-35 Tuesday afternoon.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports 65-year-old Herman J. Clark was southbound on I-35 when the vehicle Clark was traveling in went off the left side of the roadway and into the median. The vehicle overturned, coming to a rest on the driver's side and facing west.

49-year-old Kimberly M. Burch was driving the truck at the time of the accident and was not hurt. Clark was taken to Harrison County Community Hospital in Bethany, Mo. by NTA ambulance.
