USDA Missouri Farm Service Agency provides loans to underserved and beginning farmers

The U.S. Department of Agriculture Missouri Farm Service Agency is offering specially targeted farm ownership and operation loans to underserved and beginning farmers.

Farm minorities such as women, African Americans, Native Americans, Hispanics, Asians, and Pacific Islanders can qualify, as well as applicants that have operated a farm for less than ten years and have a farm size less than thirty percent of the average. That's according to Farm Loan Manager Matt Strueby.

Persons wanting more information on FSA's farm loan programs and underserved and beginning farmer guidelines are urged to contact their local FSA office.
