The Nebraska Public Power District responded to an unusual event at its Cooper Nuclear Station yesterday near Brownville, Neb. NPPD Spokesperson Mark Becker says the situation was due to a hydrogen leak into the main plant area.
Becker says the problem did not present any threat to the public.
The Cooper Nuclear Station is located three miles southeast of Brownville near the Missouri River and is owned and operated by the Nebraska Public Power District.
