The Glenn Miller Birthplace Society is holding a donation drive to help their scholarship, yearly festival, children's programs and the upkeep of the museum and birthplace home.
During 2018 GMBS will open a special exhibit to celebrate the 75th anniversary of Glenn Miller's Army Air Force Band. Executive Director of the GMBS Shari Greenwood says upkeep of the museum and birthplace home is one part of the donation drive.
The 42nd Annual Glenn Miller Festival will be June 7 - 10, 2018. Greenwood says the upcoming festival is projected to even bigger and better than years past.
