Scholars from throughout the world converged Oct. 12-13 at Northwest Missouri State University for the 20th annual Great Plains Political Science Association Conference.
In addition to presentations by professors from throughout the Great Plains region, numerous graduate students and undergraduate students attended the conference. The gathering was highlighted by a keynote address from Dr. David Kimball, professor and graduate director of political science at the University of Missouri-St. Louis.
Five Northwest students, representing programs in criminology, political science and geography, presented papers based on research they completed at Northwest. Aaron Moser, a senior geography major from Burlington Junction, Mo., presented “The American Exception."
