Missouri State Highway Patrol asks drivers to be alert for deer on the road

As fall arrives, the Missouri State Highway Patrol is encouraging drivers to be alert for deer on or around roads. Patrol Captain John J. Hotz says the majority of deerstrikes happen in October and November

The Highway patrol is also reminding drivers that rural areas are not the only place where deer strikes occur. If you see a deer cross the road you are travelling on, slow down and proceed with caution.
