Missouri gasoline up 6.5 cents during the past week

Average gasoline prices in Missouri rose 6.5 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $2.25 per gallon this past Sunday according to GasBuddy's daily survey of gas outlets in Missouri. It compares to the national average increase of 0.6 cents per gallon in the last week to $2.45 per gallon.

Prices Sunday were 27 cents per gallon higher than the same day one year ago and are 0.7 cents per gallon higher than a month ago. The national average decreased 8.9 cents per gallon during the last month and stands 25 cents per gallon higher than a year ago.
