Nodaway County Prosecuting Attorney Robert Rice will host a series of listening posts throughout the county next month. He plans to visit 11 towns to hear about issues affecting residents and discuss the work his office does for them. Rice says the listening posts are scheduled for Monday, Oct. 23 and Tuesday, Oct. 24.
Rice will start the day at 8 a.m. in Elmo at the American Legion building on Monday, Oct. 23. At 9:30 he'll arrive at the Clearmont Post Office, and at 11 he'll appear at the American Legion Building in Burlington Jct. That afternoon he'll arrive at Pickering's Community Building at 12:30 and will be at the Hopkins Community Building at 2 p.m. Finally, he'll appear at Skidmore City Hall at 4.
On Tuesday, Oct. 24, Rice will begin at Parnell's American Legion Building at 8 a.m. Later, he'll appear at Ravenwood's Community Building at 9:30 and at Conception's American Legion building at 11. In the afternoon he'll arrive in Barnard, at 4th and Depot Streets, at 1:30 p.m. Lastly, he'll appear in Graham at 3 p.m. near the Lions Club building and Smokehouse.
