Mason says building relationships is key

A program designed to improve leadership skills is seeking people to become part of their 2018 class. Leadership Northwest Missouri is a program where interested individuals commit to eight days over a seven-month period to gain leadership training, education on important issues in the region, and access to a well-connected network of contacts.

A graduate of the 2017 Leadership Northwest class -- Sam Mason of Maryville, Mo. -- says building relationships is a key part of the program.

The 2018 class will begin with a two-day retreat at Conception Abbey on Jan. 24 and 25. Interested persons in the 19-county-region of northwest Missouri can go online at www.leadershipnorthwestmissouri.org for more information.
