Maryville Parks and Recreation to distribute donated Halloween costumes

Maryville Parks and Recreation announced events to coincide with this year's Halloween celebration. Among the events planned is a Halloween costume donation and pick-up. Special event and marketing manager for Maryville Parks and Recreation Jordyn Swalley says the event creates an opportunity for kids to get a costume without parents worrying about cost.

Costumes can be donated October 9 - 15 at the Maryville Community Center at 1407 North Country Club Road. Those costumes can be picked up October 18 at the Nodaway County Ministry Center.

Other events included during this year's Halloween celebration are a "Not So Scary Hayride" and a dance for area middle schoolers. For more information on costume drop-offs or this years Halloween events, call 660-562-2923.
