Website ranks Maryville in top 30 safest college towns

A national website called Safewise.com has ranked Maryville in the top 30 of the safest college towns in the country. That's according to Maryville Public Safety Director Keith Wood.

Maryville City Manager Greg McDanel agrees that there are several reasons for Maryville's good ranking by Safewise.com.

This comes as good news to the parents of students at Maryville High School and Northwest Missouri State University, especially since the fall sessions at both schools recently got underway.
