Northwest signs memorandum of understanding with A.T. Still University

Northwest Missouri State University and A.T. Still University have signed a Memorandum of Understanding that helps Northwest students gain admission to ATSU's College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Mo.

Northwest's Associate Provost for Enrollment and Retention Management Bev Schenkel says the Memorandum of Understanding signed yesterday gives Northwest students the opportunity to enter the Still Scholars Early Acceptance Program following their sophomore year.

Assistant Vice President of Admissions at A.T. Still University Dr. David Koenecke says the understanding increases post-graduation opportunities for Northwest students, but does not guarantee admission into the College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Koenecke and Northwest Interim Provost Dr. Jamie Hooyman signed the agreement during a ceremony on the Northwest campus yesterday afternoon.
