Louisiana driver seriously injured near Mound City, Mo.

A Louisiana driver was seriously injured after having tire failure while driving on northbound Interstate 29, three miles south of Mound City in Holt County yesterday morning.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that 43-year-old Ted W. Griffiths, of Kinder, La., was northbound on I-29 and had tire failure which caused him to lose control of his vehicle and drive off the east side of the road. The vehicle then skidded back onto I-29 and overturned onto the passenger side.
