With the Heat Index in the mid-100's this week Kansas City Power and Light and several county community service offices are partnering again this year to help people in need get relief from the heat.
KCP&L is providing Community Services offices in Atchison, Nodaway, Worth and Holt Counties with fans for those in need. KCP&L North District Community Affairs Manager, Dan Hegeman, says it's an easy process for people to pick up the fans from their local Community Services office.
