An Anti-Bullying and Sexting Awareness program is coming to Maryville in August. Maryville Public Safety is helping bring in the program.
Public Safety Director Keith Wood says an expert on social media bullying -- Allyson Pereira -- will speak to students and parents about problems brought about from misuse of social media. Wood says his department has seen an increase in cyber bullying over the past couple of years.
The Anti-Bullying and Sexting Awareness program will be held August 21 and 22 at the Maryville Performing Arts Center.
