Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop H receives updated rifles

Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop H in northwest Missouri is receiving updated duty rifles as well as training in their use. Missouri State Highway Patrol Sgt. Jake Angle said the rifles are being updated because the ones they used previously were aging.

Angle stated that officers receive firearm training several times a year, including for the use of pistols, shotguns and rifles. He said rifle training has been scheduled earlier than usual because it's needed before the troopers begin using the new weapons.
