Stolen art sculptures located

Maryville Public Safety has recovered three art sculptures reported missing last week from a display at the corner of Fourth and Buchanan Streets.

Maryville Public Safety Director Keith Wood says the art pieces were discovered sitting outside storage units located on North Main Street. The sculptures were rented by the City of Maryville from an artist in Colorado and placed at the intersection as a symbolic representation of diversity in the community.

Wood says no arrests have been made regarding the incident and urges anyone with information to contact Maryville Public Safety.
