A Northwest Missouri State University student and two Horace Mann Elementary students recently presented social justice research to a state audience.
Senior elementary education major Megan Hummel attended a Missouri elementary prinicipals conference last month with 6th grader Nino Coniglio and 5th grader Boyd Gallaher. Their presentation entitled “Social Justice: The Power of Student Voice” encouraged students to find their voice to inspire changes.
The presentation was the result of finding issues they were passionate about, researching them and developing ways to make a difference in their chosen areas.
